ATTENTION! Before first use, wash the wok with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. The wok is made of carbon steel, the best conductor of heat, and it immediately reaches high temperatures, so avoid overheating it. Before each use, make sure that you have added enough liquid to cover the bottom of the wok. If you are not using the wok for boiling, before each use, coat its inner surface with a bit of oil. Do not overheat the wok when it is empty and remove it from the stove before its contents evaporate. Low or medium heat is sufficient to achieve the best cooking results. Do not use the wok at temperatures higher than 260ºC (500ºF), and in the case of cooking on induction or ceramic cooktops, the temperature should not exceed 180ºC (356ºF).
